Just a few glances at the content from Copenhagen Fashion Week confirmed two things for me: First, I absolutely love Scandi style, and second, a bag charm renaissance is imminent. In what is perhaps a natural style progression alongside the ongoing Y2K love affair, accessories are circling back to becoming bolder, louder (quite literally) and, frankly, messier. Think Mary-Kate Olsen’s battered yet be-charmed Birkin, an icon of the early 2000s. After a wave of clean girl, slick back bun, neutral tidiness, perhaps this is one of the many upcoming trends to usher a redirection in the style zeitgeist.

Whenever a new trend arises, I always assess how I can hop on it more sustainably. The most conscious way to shop is always second-hand or vintage, which feels very appropriate when sourcing for a fashion moment that last saw love over 20 years ago.
