I'm Calling It—Saltair Will Be the Beauty Brand of the Summer. These Are the Editor-Approved Standouts From the Range
Alice Hartwell
Our favourite products from the bodycare brand *everyone* will be talking about.
As a Managing Editor, I’m lucky to be on the front foot when it comes to discovering new brands. Few of late have captured me as instantly as Saltair. I was a convert almost immediately, intoxicated by both the beachy bliss of its aesthetic and the impressive performance of its surprisingly affordable products.
If I were a betting woman, I’d say Saltair is well on its way to becoming a household name, despite launching only a few years ago in 2022. I’ve tested a wide range of the brand’s products, and if you keep scrolling, you can shop my favourites.
Behind the Brand: Saltair
Saltair is an affordable (yet undeniably luxurious in feel) body and skincare brand founded in 2021 by British model and body-positivity advocate Iskra Lawrence. The brand made its UK debut throughout Space NKs back in October 2025, with an inclusive motto of “Every body is welcome here.”
It offers a collection of sensorially rich products that evoke the feeling of sun-soaked days by the sea, with ranges inspired by coastal escapes such as Driftwood, Coral Coast and Pink Beach. My favourite is Driftwood, as will probably become apparent in your next few scrolls. And speaking of favourites, let’s get into it.
Best Saltair Products
As someone with many body butters to my name, I’ve been reaching for this one the most as of late.
It feels rich and almost greasy at first touch, but soaks into the skin beautifully, leaving a purposeful yet delicate bergamot, sage and driftwood scent on the skin.
This butter comes packed with ceramides to bolster the skin barrier and promote hydration, and the fair price point makes me feel I can lather it on with more recklass abandon.
I was, let’s say, the most sceptical of this product than any other in the range. Nothing personal, Saltair—roll on, “wet” deodorants have just never been my thing.
It could be the scent. It could be the multi-acid complex that both brightens and exfoliates the underarms, but I’m sold.
This is also a super travel-friendly product, fitting more neatly—and stylishly—in my overnight bags than big cans of spray deodorants.
That delicious body butter I was hyping up earlier? Meet its perfect match.
This oil performs well beyond its £25 price point, and, in my opinion, performs to the level of some of the market’s eye-wateringly priced luxury body oils.
I love layering this over the butter, doubling down not only on scent but also on hydration and moisture. It leaves a lovely sheen, but without the greasy film.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the body wash. This was the first product that got me truly hooked on Saltair.
The scent seems to come alive with this product more than any other, and it’s one of the best lathering body washes I’ve ever used.
I also love how big and chunky the bottle is. I feel like I’m getting more bang for my buck. And yes, I absolutely would spend £17 on a body wash if it’s coming with as much game as this one.
