Ever since I first discovered the charm of Seville on a trip a few years back, I’ve been utterly hooked. Whether it’s the sun-soaked mosaic of architecture, the drifting smell of orange blossom, the authentically delicious Andalusian cuisine and easy-flowing glasses of Tinto de verano, or a combination of it all—who knows.
Either way, I’ve been back every year since, never tiring of all Seville has to offer, and somehow discovering something new to love each time. I do then consider myself qualified to report back on the sartorial demands of the city. If you have a trip booked here sometime soon, this is everything you need to pack and what to wear in Seville.
What To Wear in Seville
Linen Set, Swimsuit & Mesh Bag
If you’re visiting Seville anytime between June and the end of August, you’re going to be *hot*. Temperatures can climb to 40 degrees and beyond, so packing clothing that keeps you comfortable and cool is essential. As is stopping by Mito for an ice cream at regular intervals.
I always rely on these Deiji Studios linen shorts and shirt sets to do the job, and wore this swimsuit underneath after a trip to the AIRE Ancient Baths. (An absolute must when visiting Seville, and the perfect way to escape the heat for a few hours of bliss.)
Linen Dress, Statement Necklace & Sandals
You’ll notice my love for Deiji Studios will be a running theme in this story. I picked up this linen dress on Vinted just before my trip. Yes, black isn’t the most practical in the heat, but it always looks chic. (And hides sweat patches—bonus.)
I loved adding a little more life to this minimalist ensemble with this red beaded necklace from the brand Solae. It’s the perfect muted pop of colour that makes things feel a little more dressed-up.
Halter Neck Dress, Sunglasses & Sandals
It’s my opinion that every trip needs at least one “va-va-voom” dress, whether you’re hopping around bars or going for late night tapas (which, when in Spain, will be very late.)
Mine was this halter neck from With Jean. I paired it with sculptural sandals by Alohas (because, Spain) and the mesh tote bag that served me for the entire trip—namely because it took up less room in my plane carry-on.
Linen Shirt, Barrel Trousers & Pendant Necklace
A linen shirt does wonders on warm weather trips. Button up, button down, wear as a layer in the cooler evenings (which can sneak up on you in Seville)—this piece really does it all.
When exploring the cobbled streets near the Giralda and the Alcázar, I paired it with barrel trousers, sandals, and another statement necklace from Solae.
